Tara Reid married!

The American Pie actress, Tara Reid has stunned the world by getting married to Danish Michael Lillelund in Greece just hours after becoming engaged!

The actress, 35, posted the happy news on Twitter with ‘I just got engaged!’ and within hours updated the site simply to ‘Greece Married!’

The actress, best known for playing Victoria Lathum in the American Pie series and her role as Bunny in The Big Lebowski, had reportedly met her new hubby in November while in the stylish celeb-hangout resort of St Tropez. In a private interview she claimed “he is the one” after only a few months of dating, and surprised many with the engagement proposal let alone the swift move to saying “I do” in the sunshine of the Mediterranean.

After calling off a previous engagement to Michael Axtmann in 2010, the actress took an alarmingly quick plunge into the world of wedded bliss to Lilleund. Her Twitter status changed to ‘Just got married, I love being a wife!’ after being married for only a few hours.

With rumours flying that Tara would be taking part in Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother this week, we expect that the house would not be the ideal honeymoon destination for the newly married couple.

*Since the above news on Tara Reid’s was published yesterday, it has emerged that Tara’s new husband is in fact Zack Kehayov and NOT Michael Lillelund.

Assumptions that Tara Reid had married Danish boyfriend Lillelund were corrected on Tara’s Twitter page yesterday with a simple “His name is Zack Kehayov”.

The new Mr Tara Reid, Zack Kehayov, has only been seen with the actress only a few times in the last few months. With Tara’s Twitter updates of her super-quick marriage, with being engaged and then wed in just one day, the world’s media were left to assume that it must have been Michael Lillelund that she had married.

Lillelund has spoken out to papers and magazines who had reported his supposed marriage to Tara (including us here at Closer HQ who thought the couple were now wed!), stating he and the American Pie star had gone separate ways in February this year.

Photos showing off her huge sparkler were posted on her Twitter page and pictures of the pair’s wedding outfits were released into the press. The couple wore all white, with Tara in a white crop top and long skirt that showed off her tanned, flat stomach.
