Finding Your Love Online
August 3, 2010 No Comments
According to James Fowler, the coauthor of Connected: The Surprising Power of Our Social Networks and How They Shape Our Lives, 2 out 3 married couples in the United States have met their partners through their friends. “We think these introductions will continue to be just as important online as they are in real life.”
Social networking is not limited to Facebook, or Friendster, MySpace, Multiply, Twitter, instant messengers or even dating sites. Expanding your social world can also take place in online games. And because players do actually interact, it is not possible to find your love interest there as well.
So if you are single and out there looking, go ahead and make friends and acquaintances in Facebook. Find your long lost friends and classmates and see how they are doing. If you want to have fun while meeting new people, play games online. Just remember, falling into the right or wrong circle of friends can greatly affect your weight and your career, as well as you love life.
